Google Summer of Code a.k.a GSoC is a Google-in-Summer program to promote open source for college students worldwide. So if you are an open-source member or want to make a commitment to the community, you can get the GSoC project for 3 months.
What is GSOC?
Google Summer of Code is a single three-month
program where other openings are a list of problems or projects that their
problems and students are their problems and students. If a student is chosen,
the teacher will be asked for each student, and students promote the project
for the purpose of intentional guidelines.
The main idea of GSOSC offers when you study. Thus, you will have an effect on developing real programs for construction plans. And don't worry about what you pay for it.
The purpose of the program
GSoC has several goals:
1. Encourage developers to get involved in urban development.
2. Help open businesses identify and attract new developers.
3. Write and publish open-source code for everyone's benefit.
4. Support new developers with practical software development
(e.g. distributed development and release management, software activation
problems, connectivity tests, best practices).
Eligibility for GSoC
To participate in the program, students must:
2. Enrollment or admission from the date of admission to any
reputable institution, including colleges, universities, graduate programs,
doctoral programs and/or graduate studies.
3. Be eligible to work in your country of residence during the
program.
4. You are not responsible for organizing or running the program.
