identification, and be enrolled full-time at a recognised higher education

beneficial, don't worry if you don't have much of a technical background.
Students from all academic backgrounds who want to
advance their career and tech skills are urged to enrol for this programme,
which provides all of the necessary tools and resources to assist you to learn
more and participate in the programme.

1st step: Sign in to your Microsoft account on the website https://studentambassadors.microsoft.com/
2nd step: Select 'Apply Now' from the drop-down menu.
3rd step: When you click apply, the following window displays, displaying various areas of the form.
To continue with your application, agree to the Privacy Statement and click 'Next' in the 'Privacy and Terms' section.
4th Step: Fill up your personal information, such as your name, contact email, gender, and phone number, in the 'Personal Info' box, and have it validated with a one-time password.
To continue, click 'Next.'
5th Step: Fill in the School information, such as your college information and the degree you are presently pursuing, and then click 'Next.'
6th step: Now comes the most important phase. While filling out the application, you should focus your efforts and attention on the 'Written sample' portion.
It is divided into three sections, each of which requires you to answer three questions, namely:
• Inspire- What about technology fascinates you, and
why do you want to assist other kids to learn and explore it?
• Teach- How would you explain a technical idea to a friend or colleague who has never heard of it before?
• Promote- How would you attract kids to attend an event at your school if you were holding one?
You can answer these questions with a video or a
written example, but at least one video (under 2 minutes) must be submitted,
filmed with your phone or camera and clearly audible. You'll need to supply the
video's URL.
7th step: You must fill in the Additional information, such as your LinkedIn profile URL, technical blog post URL, and so on. Although this area is optional, I encourage that you complete as many fields as possible.
8th step: This is the final step toward your goal of becoming a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador. You must indicate which technologies interest you in this area of the 'Technical Skills' section. Aside from that, if anything is left over, you can share it.
After you've filled in all of the necessary
information, click the 'Submit' button, and you're done!
What is the schedule for the programme?
Applications are accepted all year and are examined on a regular basis. As a consequence, you can apply at any time, and the results will be announced in the next quarter. If your application was previously refused, you can resubmit.
How does the process of further selection work?
Each submission will be personally assessed by the team, and applicants will be notified of their approval in the following quarter.
Congratulations and welcome to the team, if you've been chosen:)
Don't worry if you're not; you can always amend your application and reapply for the following cohort.
So, once you've been chosen, what's next?
Big congrats if you've made it this far!
You will begin as an alpha MLSA, and as you progress, you will unlock other stages such as Beta and Gold based on your performance and dedication.

If you are a U.S. F-1 student, check with the Designated School Official in your school's International Student office (or your own personal immigration legal counsel) to see if participating in this programme may jeopardise your F-1 status. A violation might jeopardise a student's ability to continue their F-1 studies, as well as his or her future eligibility for immigration-related benefits in the United States.
The Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors programme is not open to students from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, or the Crimean Peninsula. Because the export of goods and services to certain countries/regions is prohibited by US export restrictions, students from these countries/regions are not eligible to participate.
